What is this service?

Fintech service and employee benefit, which makes wages available at any time of the month. The term Earned Wage Access (EWA) has been established in English for this service. As soon as the employee requests the money worked outside the standard payday, we will pay the money directly to his bank account. The company processes wages once a month as usual.

The service has no impact on the company's cash flow and creates savings for the employer by increasing productivity and reducing the administrative burden. It is not a loan, employees receive their own salary.

Why is this service needed?

Many employees would like to be paid several times a month, but he is not comfortable talking about it with his superior. So they apply for loans, thus they may face potential financial risk.

“Sometimes it happens that some unplanned expenses surprise us. The last one was, for example, a refrigerator, which we had to solve immediately. So I'm glad we did it without an expensive consumer loan.”

How does it look like a good opportunity?

Employees are able to access salary at any time of the month.
Support employees to avoid predatory instalment products.
Assist employees with financial literacy.

What do your employees get?

Employees can withdraw their salary regardless of the day of payment.

Employees can be discreet and without the risk of indebtedness. And no more expensive loans.

What employers get

A B2B Saas in which employers can monitor real-time statistics on the use of the service by employees and communicate with them.

Employees may request paycheck multip times in a certain period, but employer only process wages once.

Visual identity development

I centered the branding around the Fintech product, ultimately deciding on the nest + wallet logo and purple palette after several rounds of experimentation.

Laying the groundwork

Make onboarding simply and fun

My intention in the design is to teach users how to use the app. And encourage employees to suggest Wagenest to their company.

However, it does turn out to be fun and helpful.

I use data visualization to simply express balance, and also withdraw fast.

Using MVPs as a way to prioritize and guide our design processes and ensure that what we are creating is doing what it set out to do. At the end of the day, this is what matters most, the solution to the problem, the fulfillment of the need, the space for opportunity.
